To all my brothers,

This New Moon is just as much a call to our hearts as it is to our queens, our mothers, our daughters, and every expression of the feminine. Before we ask how to better protect or empower the feminine, perhaps we can begin with a quieter question: Where have I stopped nourishing myself?

I’m not speaking about the needs we need someone else to meet. I’m speaking about the needs we are capable of honoring ourselves. How do we care for our bodies? How do we tend to our hearts? How do we create rhythms of work, rest, movement, prayer, friendship, and beauty that leave us more alive rather than perpetually depleted?

Too often, masculinity has been reduced to a man who comes home exhausted, burnt out, emotionally unavailable, and somehow believes this is proof of his love. But what if true strength looked different? What if the strongest man wasn’t the one who could endure the most suffering, but the one who knew how to remain deeply nourished while carrying great responsibility?

A man with a full cup doesn’t dominate his ecosystem. He gives life to it. His wife feels safer. His children feel more seen. His community feels more supported. His work becomes more meaningful. Even the earth beneath his feet is treated as something sacred rather than something to consume.

What would the world look like if humanity learned to nourish itself without extracting life from everything around it? What would our relationships become if we showed up from fullness rather than exhaustion? What would happen if our care for ourselves became the very thing that allowed everyone around us to flourish?

Perhaps this is one of Taurus’ deepest invitations. To become so well nourished that our lives become a refuge. For ourselves. For those we love. And for the Earth that has been nourishing us all along.
