In one of the most sophisticated military operations in modern history, U.S. forces from across the Dept of War executed “Operation Absolute Resolve”—the mission to capture Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro on Jan 3rd—new details now indicate the RQ-170 Sentinel (known as the “Wraith”) was one of the key systems that made it possible....and it didn’t just jam communications, it may have been operating over Caracas for months.

The Wraith created a “digital blackout” over Caracas as 150+ aircraft assisted the Delta Force infill into the military compound where the dictator was hiding. Together with strike aircraft and cyber operations, the Wraith “collapsed air defenses” and wiped out communications across the area.

Unlike blunt jamming systems, the Wraith creates a precise “cone of silence,” cutting off only the intended building/area/vehicle targeted. It also reportedly uses AI-driven signal processing to “hunt” encrypted channels and flood them with white noise.  Pentagon sources also claim that Russian-made GPS jammers were in use over the compound—yet the Wraith is able to navigate without GPS satellites by reading terrain, building live 3D maps, and continuing to monitor its intended target.

The tech is so advanced that Its multispectral sensors are able to see through darkness/smoke/dust/airborne debris....and its thermal tracking was tracking Maduro literally “room by room.” And of course, its laser designator assisted strike aircraft and incoming precision guided munitions.
