Anchorage, Alaska just became the stage for one of the most epic displays of airpower in ages...As President Trump and Russian President Putin touched down for the summit aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, two B-2 Spirit stealth bombers—roughly 10% of America’s total fleet—arrived at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson with F-35’s in formation. Their appearance was clearly no accident as they flew over as the leaders walked the ceremonial red carpet.

The strategic subtext was crystal clear as one B-2, flanked by four F-35s, flew over the base while Trump and Putin were greeting each other and heading for a photo op....alongside the route were rows of F-22 Raptors—clearly positioned as a visual reminder of U.S. air dominance...tech unmatched by anything in Russia’s arsenal.
