Here at Swim England, we’re proud to support the Royal Life Saving Society UK’s Drowning Prevention Week, taking place from 13 to 20 June. It’s a great reminder of how we can all stay safe and look out for each other around water 💙⁠

The Water Safety Code is a simple guide to help you enjoy every swim safely:⁠

🔵 Stop and think – take a moment to spot potential dangers⁠
🔵 Stay together – always stay close to others and never swim alone⁠
🔵 Float – if you fall in, lie on your back, relax and breathe⁠
🔵 Call for help – shout for help and call 999 or 112⁠
