Last week, Emmy-winning and four-time James Beard Award-winning chef Andrew Zimmern (chefaz) curated our annual Dinner for a Better New York®. The evening raised over $1.6 million to benefit New Yorkers in need of housing, shelter, treatment and rehabilitative services, employment and skills-building, therapeutic horticulture, and crisis services.

“The money we raise tonight will help people in need,” said perlmutterperry, President & CEO. “People who are chronically homeless with mental illness and substance use challenges and not only get them into permanent, supportive and affordable housing, but set them up to live healthy, independent, and socially connected lives.”
