I did this quick edit out of a pure fangirling moment but I decided to share it with you guys because this is a read you can not miss, I would easily this is a 6 stars read and I’m dying to die in this hill: completed duology, gothic setting where a kingdom is under a terrible curse (think the plague), our fmc is a smart and hard working gravedigger who’s family is slowly dying and one day she finds the steward of the king who finds in her the perfect person to help him break the curse. 

What hooked the most was her writing style but honestly I can’t pin point something I didn’t like from this book, it was the verbal battle, the banter, how goal driven she was, the MMC, the banter, the chemistry 🥵 you felt through the entire story how both they were doing whatever they can to fight this attraction for each other, and the spice?? 🔥♥️ so so good…. But once their finally did, their love was something beautiful to read, and more with that ending, you will cry but you will be so happy with the ending 🥺😘 one of the most meaningful and tender ends I’ve read. 

I’ll re read this again… soon.
