For Day 2 of #HOPEWeek, we honored Dunia Sibomana-Rodriguez & The Smile Rescue Fund for Kids 💙

The non-profit brought Dunia to the U.S. and performed over a dozen surgeries on him after he suffered a childhood chimpanzee attack in his original home in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Earlier today, giancarlo818, thejudge44, Paul Goldschmidt, david_bednar, ben_rice22, anthonyvolpe, and Assistant Pitching Coach Preston Claiborne joined Dunia and his friends and family for a surprise high school graduation party at Yankee Stadium 🎓

Dunia, a three-time N.Y. State wrestling champion, will be attending the University of North Carolina this fall & will be joining their wrestling team.
