Meet Brae. She is 10 years old, she has visited our farm twice, and she has stolen every single one of our hearts — including mine.

Brae is an extraordinary animal whisperer. She even trained our Cash, which tells you everything you need to know about this girl. When she is with animals something magical happens and you simply cannot look away.

For the past 100 days Brae has been part of an incredible group of young people who each took on a wild donkey and committed to training them from scratch — obstacles, riding, bonding — all of it. She has shared her journey every step of the way and it has been nothing short of breathtaking to watch.

On June 20th at noon in Pendleton, SC she will be competing in the Big Burro Shootout — and I am asking every single one of you to go support her if you can. This child has put her whole heart into this and she deserves to look up into that crowd and see people cheering for her.
