Netflix (netflixkr) has unveiled the first teaser for The East Palace, and it already looks like one of the platform’s biggest Korean releases on the horizon!

The mystery-occult historical drama stars Nam Joo Hyuk (skawngur) as Gu Cheon, a ghost hunter summoned to the royal palace to uncover the truth behind a sinister curse lurking within its walls.

The newly released teaser is packed with haunting imagery: blood-red supernatural energy, shadowy spirits, and a palace that seems to exist between the human world and the realm of the dead.

The East Palace marks Nam Joo Hyuk’s first drama since completing military service, Roh Yoon Seo’s first leading role in a Netflix original series, and Jo Seung Woo’s Netflix debut.

The East Palace premieres on Netflix on July 17. If the teaser is any indication, The East Palace may be Netflix’s next must-watch K-drama.🔥
