Korea’s rainy season is almost here ☔️

From mid-to-late June through late July, Korea enters its annual rainy season, known as jangma. During this period, it can rain so often that it’s sometimes easier to count the days it doesn’t rain.

If you’re planning a trip to Korea, here’s the average rainy season schedule by region:

📍 Jeju Island (Jeju City, Seogwipo)
🗓️ June 19 – July 20

📍 Southern Region (Busan, Ulsan, Daegu, Gwangju, Yeosu, Tongyeong)
🗓️ June 23 – July 24

📍 Central Region (Seoul, Incheon, Suwon, Daejeon, Chuncheon)
🗓️ June 25 – July 26

Of course, weather can vary from year to year, but if you‘re visiting Korea this summer, it’s a good idea to pack an umbrella just in case! ☂️🇰🇷
