I’m home after spending the week in Atlanta.

I have to admit, it feels good. And it’s a little bittersweet.

I love being in Atlanta. I love that apartment. It has served me so well during these last few years, thanks to my friend Jamie. As I packed up this morning, I found myself thinking about all the places that have held me over the last 14 years while building SoundEmbrace.

Apartments. Guest rooms. Air mattresses. Couches. Floors.

San Francisco. Los Angeles. Colorado. Texas. Florida. New York. Atlanta.

There were times when I knew exactly where I was headed and times when I had absolutely no idea. Times when I was building with confidence and times when I was building with little more than faith.

Tonight, more than anything, I feel grateful. Grateful for every place I’ve laid my head and every person who created space for me along the way.

As many of you know, I’ll soon be setting out on a personal experiment inspired by astrocartography. I’ll be traveling through different parts of the East Coast, facilitating sound baths, recording conversations for the podcast, meeting people, and exploring a question I’ve been asking myself for years:

What does it mean to live a life you love waking up to every day?

When I first started planning this journey, I was excited about discovering what might be different from place to place. But lately I’ve become just as curious about what stays the same.

I’m back in Alabama now, back on my Neptune line, and I can already feel the energy pulling me inward again. More reflection. More dreaming. More listening. More time spent asking questions than trying to answer them.

Maybe that’s exactly where I need to be right now.

Tonight I’m simply appreciating where I’ve been, feeling curious about what’s ahead, and grateful for all the places and people that have been part of the journey so far.
