Hudhayfa Nazoorideen, better known online as HudZah, reportedly completed a neutron-producing nuclear fusor in only 36 hours despite it being his first major hardware project.

According to HudZah, he relied on Anthropic’s Claude to help answer questions, troubleshoot issues, debug problems, and provide guidance while assembling the system. The build followed an earlier fusor design that successfully generated plasma but did not achieve neutron-producing fusion. After spending several weeks gathering components, the final construction was reportedly finished in under two days.

The project included a 30 kV power supply, a high-vacuum chamber, and a neutron bubble detector for measuring output. To fuel the reaction, he reportedly produced deuterium gas from heavy water using a compact electrolysis setup, with the gas generation process costing approximately $112.
