After leaving a career in law to pursue teaching, YSC’s Mark Franek set out to make the history of U.S. soccer more engaging for his yscacademy students. When cavan.sull felt the books he was assigned were uninteresting and focused too heavily on the sport’s shortcomings, Mr. Franek took on the challenge himself.
