As a dad of three middle schoolers, I was surprised to learn that some intoxicating hemp products can be sold in places like gas stations and convenience stores—sometimes packaged in ways that look a lot like everyday snacks and candy. Most parents assume products that can impair judgment would be subject to strict safeguards, clear labeling, and strong oversight. But a loophole in federal law allowed many of these products to enter the market with limited regulation. The good news is that protections have been put in place. The concern is that those protections could be rolled back. This isn't about politics. It's about consumer safety, transparency, and making sure products that can intoxicate people aren't easily accessible to kids. Take a moment to learn more, pay attention to this issue, and speak up in support of keeping these protections in place. #KeepTheLoopholeClosed #PublicHealth #ConsumerProtection
