Most of the time you’re not scrolling because you want to. You’re scrolling because you forgot you had other options.

Here’s what’s actually happening. Your phone gives fast dopamine: it spikes in seconds, then drops you below where you started. That flat, empty feeling after an hour of scrolling isn’t in your head, it’s your brain paying back what you borrowed.

Real life gives slow dopamine. It takes effort first but it settles you above baseline and it lasts. A walk, a book, a real conversation. Your brain just defaults to the phone because it’s the easy option.

A dopamine menu fixes that. It’s a list of slow dopamine things, decided before the craving hits so real life becomes easier to reach for than the scroll.

But mine isn’t the usual “do nice things instead.” It’s built on how dopamine actually works:

Starters: effort first quick hits
Mains: slow dopamine that fills you
Sides: meaning stacked onto dead time
Specials: your weekly baseline reset
Desserts: fast dopamine, budgeted not banned

Plus the two things no one else includes: the Trap Swap (a pre decided swap for every craving trigger) and the rule that stops you quitting before it works.

You’re not addicted to your phone. You’re under stimulated by a life you haven’t designed yet.

This is you designing it.

👉Comment “MENU” and I’ll send you the full FREE guide: The science, every section explained, a printable template and a 14 day tracker so you don’t quit before the reset kicks in!

Save this for your next “I’m bored but I don’t want to scroll” moment.
