Not the start we were imagining ⬇️ 😔

For the past 18 months, we’ve been traveling the US on our mobile American soccer museum, sharing it with communities all over the country—from 4th division teams all the way up to MLS. 

We bought the bus off Facebook marketplace (a 1998 Thomas School Bus), gutted the inside, and renovated it ourselves before hitting the road. On our travels, supporters from all over the country helped us fill it up with memorabilia from across US soccer history, with items from the ‘70s all the way through the present day. 

Heading into the World Cup, it was our dream to take the bus from LA to NYC during the World Cup and share it with local and international football fans all over the country this summer. 

We hoped it’d be a good way to show the rich history of the beautiful game on our shores and celebrate all the incredible soccer communities we’d had the chance to visit and hear from during our 13,000 miles on the road up to this point.

Unfortunately, after an amazing weekend in LA with the American Outlaws for the USMNT’s opening game, we broke down on the side of the highway in Ontario, California, and the engine is fried.

We know it’s a long shot to get it up and running again and complete the journey from LA to NYC, but we figured we’d start a fundraiser to see if we can get friends, family, and any fellow fans of the beautiful game to help us get a new engine and resume the trip.
