Meet whale eye 🐋👀

It’s that head down, side eye glance your furry friend gives you to signal, “Hey, I see you and I don’t like what you’re doing.”

Most people wait for a growl or lunge, but in reality, dogs communicate way before that. Whale eye is one of those telltale signs I look out for right before a moment of escalation. When I see it, I stop. I don’t advance. I just wait.
