Five women appear to have been targeted in an acid attack in Jersey City, authorities say.

The women were standing outside a house on Wilkinson Avenue Monday when officials say individuals in a vehicle drove up and threw what is believed to be sulfuric acid at them.

All five victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of skin burns and peeling. They are expected to be OK.
