I’ve made content about Silicon Valley for eight years, and for most of that time tech and culture felt like two different planets.

The last two years are completely different. AI is moving into culture, and it’s moving fast. It’s in the photos people post and the rooms they show up to. New formats keep appearing that didn’t exist a year ago, and I get a little thrill every time I spot one.

Last night I was at a lenovo event with an immersive AI experience called Smart Share. You strike a single pose, and the AI builds an entire scene around you and drops you straight into the middle of the game. I posed for two seconds. It did the rest.

AI is stepping out from behind the screen and into the room with us. That is what Lenovo means by smarter AI for all, technology that meets people inside the moments they already care about and lets them create and connect.
