Only in Arizona do you see a Gila monster casually come out of a pipe and meet a rattlesnake face to face. 😭

The video from kim_in_the_sonoran_desert shows the Gila monster crawling out near the snake before both animals basically acknowledged each other and kept it moving.

No fight. No chaos. Just two of Arizona’s most intimidating desert animals having the calmest standoff possible.
