Arizona drivers with no speed limit sounds either genius or terrifying. 😳

A 2026 proposal known as the RAPID Act would allow Arizona to test “derestricted speed zones” on select rural highways, starting with parts of Interstate 8.

The idea would let qualifying non-commercial vehicles drive without a maximum speed limit in certain areas, while supporters say it could cut travel times on long desert routes.
