Tucson had one of its warmest winters on record in 2025

For the first time in more than 130 years of recordkeeping, the city went an entire winter without dropping below 32°F even once.

That means no official freeze days all winter — something that had never happened before in Tucson’s recorded history.

Now that summer is here, that record-setting winter feels even more significant as Arizona heads into another season of extreme heat.
