Rap and EDM have been crossing paths for years, but lately the line between the two feels thinner than ever 🔥

Artists across the underground are pulling from dance music, trance, hyperpop, and festival-ready production without abandoning what made them rap artists in the first place. Snow Strippers helped push that shift forward with their chaotic blend of electronic music and underground rap culture, while newer collaborations like BKTHERULA and Whethan’s “I GO PUNK” show just how naturally those worlds can coexist today.

Tiffany Day’s recent move toward a more electronic sound has landed her alongside artists like Slayr, adding another example of pop, dance, and internet music scenes continuing to overlap 🤝

At the end of the day, what used to feel more-so like a niche crossover is starting to feel normal. Whether it’s distorted synths, festival-sized drops, or full EDM production, more rap artists are treating electronic music as part of the same creative ecosystem rather than a separate lane.
