Nah some of these hand-drawn videos are so insane 🔥

Whether it’s the iconic animated worlds of Gorillaz, Kanye West’s “Heard ’Em Say” visual created with legendary animator Bill Plympton, to newer releases like Forrest Nolan’s “thank you i guess” and Jim Legxacy’s “idk,” hand-drawn animation continues to be one of the most time-intensive and unique forms of visual storytelling in music ✍️

Every frame has to be illustrated, making most of these videos a completely different creative process from traditional live-action videos or CGI-heavy production. Even in an era where technology can speed up almost everything, artists and animators are still choosing to do it the hard way, and the results usually speak for themselves 📈

Not all of these are 100% hand-drawn, some are hand animated or only have brief hand drawn portions, but we still felt they deserved a mention in the conversation.
