I’ve had so many messages asking how I got my ADHD assessment and diagnosis, so I thought I’d share what I did.

I went through the Right to Choose pathway and chose a provider called ProblemShared.

The process was actually much easier than I expected. I contacted my GP surgery and asked for a Right to Choose referral. The GP then completed the referral paperwork, which was sent to ProblemShared.

Once they received it, I was sent assessment forms to complete and, after those were reviewed, I was able to book my assessment.

Of course, waiting times can vary and it does depend on your GP supporting the referral, but for me the process itself was straightforward.
