Originally designed by Chicago architect Mark Anthony — well known for his design of churches, banks and private homes — the all-brick 1930s home offers a piece of Iowa City history and privacy despite being within walking distance of downtown and the University of Iowa.

In 2012, this five-bedroom home underwent a significant addition designed by Chicago architectural firm Pappageorge Haymes and executed by McDonough Structures and Gwen Park Interiors.
