One of the things I love most about dance festivals is meeting people from different parts of the world and connecting through music and movement. This time, it was giabvl_ from Bali✨

From the very first song, everything felt smooth, natural, and effortless. There was no overthinking, no pressure to make things perfect, just great music, positive energy, and a connection that made every dance enjoyable.

What I loved most was how open we both were to experimenting. We weren’t just dancing patterns we already knew. We kept exploring new ideas, playing with musicality, changing dynamics, and seeing where the music would take us. Every song felt like a new conversation and every dance brought something different.

As the night went on, we became even more adventurous. We started trying new combinations, experimenting with movements we hadn’t practiced together before, and even borrowing a few ideas inspired by Kizomba just to see what would happen. Some moments worked beautifully, some surprised us, and some made us laugh immediately 😂

Of course, not every experiment went exactly as planned. A few leads were weaker than I wanted, some transitions were a little too ambitious, and we definitely had our share of funny fumbles. But honestly, those moments became some of my favorites.

Because the best dances aren’t always the perfect ones. They’re the ones where you feel comfortable enough to take risks, try something new, make mistakes, laugh together, and keep dancing.

That’s what made these dances so memorable. Not a particular move or combination, but the freedom to create, explore, and simply enjoy the moment without taking ourselves too seriously.

Thank you, Giada, for the amazing energy, the beautiful connection, and for being such a fun partner to experiment with on the dance floor.

Some of the best memories come from the steps that weren’t planned at all. ✨
