Some mornings, getting out of bed feels impossible. Like you’re literally glued to the mattress, no matter how much sleep you got the night before.

If you’ve ever felt this way, you’re not lazy, weak, or lacking motivation.

It’s actually incredibly common.

Your brain and body are transitioning from a state of rest to action, and sometimes that shift feels harder than others….

The good news? Most people don’t stay stuck once they get moving.

Often, the hardest part of the entire day is those first few moments after your alarm goes off.

Push through those initial minutes, and your energy, focus, and motivation usually begin to catch up.

A few things that can help:
✨ Put your alarm across the room so you have to stand up.
✨ Open your curtains immediately and get sunlight in your eyes.
✨ Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up.
✨ Count down from 5 and move before your brain starts negotiating.
✨ Give yourself something to look forward to… a coffee, a walk, your favorite podcast, or breakfast.
✨ Avoid hitting snooze, which can actually leave you feeling groggier.

Remember: you don’t need to feel fully awake to get out of bed. You just need to take the first step. Your body and mind will usually follow.

Tomorrow morning, don’t focus on getting through the whole day. Just focus on getting your feet on the floor. ❤️
