Sammy and Ashley are both MC 25, from New Jersey, and Elementary Education majors!!!

“Running home with you on bid day will always be one of my favorite memories, and that’s when I knew we were going to be best friends. It’s actually so crazy that we grew up in the same area, knowing the same people, and somehow never met until we both came to Alabama because now I literally can’t imagine my life without you. I never would have thought the girl living right down the hall would turn into my best friend, but I’m so glad it did. Bonding over being from New Jersey and both being elementary ed majors was just the start for us, and now we do everything together. It’s funny because people even joke when they don’t see both of us together, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Ashley, you’re not just my twin, you’re my best friend and my go-to for everything, and I’m so lucky Theta brought us to each other. I can’t wait for all the fun memories we still have ahead of us. Love you always 🤍”

“When I opened my bid on bid day, the first thing I wanted to do was see if we got the same house, and from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. I still think about the picture we took that day and how it ended up being the start of everything. It’s so crazy how we grew up in the same area, knowing the same people, and somehow never met until we both ended up at Alabama because now I truly can’t imagine my life without you. You’ve been my best friend through everything, from going to class together to our late-night talks and all the little everyday moments in between. You’ve made being away from home feel so much easier, and like I still have family here. I know I can always count on you no matter what. I’m so thankful Theta brought me you, and I can’t wait to live together next year and keep making the best memories. Love you 💛”
