INTERNSHIP SPOTLIGHT 🎥🌴📡👏

Meet Lauren from PC ‘21 who is majoring in News Media, with a sports concentration, and minoring in sales and political science! Lauren has had the opportunity to grow in her field of study through academic opportunities in our sorority and from her two impressive internships! Here’s what lbleszinski had to say about her experience: 

“Back on campus, I intern for WVUA23 under production and broadcast departments, which covers all of West Alabama and The University of Alabama. I even had the pleasure to work alongside our 2022 President, carleighkahle in production last year! 

I just started my full-time summer internship with NBCUniversal for the news outlets NBCLA and Telemundo52 under the news media and integrated sales departments in Los Angeles, CA. I have already had the opportunity to work alongside news industry professionals and learn about different aspects of the newsroom (such as script writing, editing, and integrated sales).

Gamma Phi Beta truly sets their sisters up for success. There are so many networking opportunities, study nights, tutoring services, and career development events to take advantage of! However, the most special part of Gamma Phi Beta, is that you will always have the most encouraging and truly the best sisters cheering you on every step of the way.”
