Meet Sarah Gibbs!

“Going into rush, I was so nervous and honestly didn’t know what to expect. I remember being really overwhelmed that first day and just trying to take everything in. The moment I walked into Kappa, I felt this immediate sense of relief, like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. When I stepped into the house, everyone welcomed me with open arms and was so kind and genuine. When talking to all the girls, I found the conversations came so easily and nothing felt forced. What stood out to me the most during rush week was how much fun everyone was having together, jumping around and dancing to the Kappa rap. Seeing that genuine friendship between all the girls made it so easy for me to picture myself there and feel excited about what my next four years would look like. I couldn’t stop laughing and dancing, and from that moment on, I knew Kappa was where I wanted to run home to. As I’m about to finish my freshman year, I can confidently say that, thanks to Kappa, this has truly been the best year ever. Since bid day, I’ve made the best friends and created memories that will last a lifetime. I’m so thankful for everything it’s given me and so excited for what’s next. I can’t wait to meet PC ’26, and I hope they love Kappa as much as I do! Kappa’s always it 💙”
