Meet Brooke and Lucy!

“Ever since both deciding to go to Alabama, everyone told us that we would make a perfect roommate pair because we were similar. Turns out they were right! Lucy came to visit me the summer before freshman year, and we clicked right away. During rush week, the moment she told me she wanted to go Kappa, I was over the moon that we would be sisters!!! Lucy is the most kindhearted and selfless friend, and it’s contagious. She’s made me into a better person just by living with her! It was the easiest decision to live together again next year in the Kappa house and I can’t wait!!!! I’m beyond thankful for Kappa making us not only sisters but best friends too!💙⚜️🩵✨🔑”

“Brooke and I went to the same camp in middle school and had mutual friends, but we didn’t reconnect until high school when we both were considering Alabama. Even though we hadn’t talked in years, we immediately clicked and decided to room together, and after visiting Brooke in the summer, I was so excited about starting college together. We both ended up pledging Kappa, and bid day was truly one of the best days ever! Kappa has brought us the most amazing friendships, but I am especially grateful for Brooke. She is the sweetest and most caring friend — the kind of friend that always has your back. My family even considers her family, which means so much to me. Living together in Tut has been such a fun and meaningful experience, and I can’t wait to room together again in the Kappa house sophomore year. I’m extremely thankful that Kappa is a part of both of our lives and that I have Brooke as my best friend and sister for life🩵🩵🩵”
