Meet December graduates MayMay and Izzy, best friends brought together by Kappa! 

“May May and I first met on tut move-in day, and from that moment, we clicked and became inseparable. We quickly had a friendship that felt easy and natural, like we had known each other for much longer. During rush week, we couldn’t help but talk about Kappa everyday—sharing our excitement and nerves especially as Bid Day grew closer. I will never forget the moment I told May I was going Kappa and hearing her tell me she was too. It made the decision feel even more special and reassured me that I was exactly where I was meant to be. Having May May by my side has truly shaped my college experience, and I am so grateful I got to experience this chapter of my life with her. Go Kappa and find your May!”

“Izzy was the first person I met when I moved to Tuscaloosa almost 4 years ago. I remember walking past the dorm room next to mine, meeting a girl with a contagious laugh and a welcoming presence. I was unfamiliar with the town & the school and Izzy made me feel at home. I knew from the second we met that we would be best friends. Since freshman year, Izzy and I have been two peas in a pod. Going Kappa together was a moment I will never forget. I knew I had found my forever home with a forever friend. From running home to Kappa, to walking across the stage together at graduation, Izzy has always been by my side. I’m so lucky I’ve had a friend like Izzy throughout my college experience.
