Meet our VP of Membership, Jessica!

“I am so excited for recruitment to start, and I especially can’t wait to welcome PC ‘25! I am so lucky to have served as Kappa’s VP of Membership this year! It has been a great experience getting to know so many people, and to work alongside Linley and Ann Ivey has been so much fun! One of my favorite moments of college was running home to Kappa 2 years ago, and to call Kappa my home. I have met lifelong friends, made countless memories, and have truly grown into a better person because of Kappa. My friends are always there for me whenever I need, and I know I can count on them in any situation. This sisterhood is irreplaceable, and I wouldn’t trade my decision for the world! Every time I stepped into Kappa during rush week, I felt a heavy sense of belonging and happiness, and that’s when I knew that I wanted Kappa to be an integral part of my college experience. 

Taking on this leadership role was a huge decision for me, but it has been one of the greatest experiences in life I have had so far! I have made so many new connections over the past year, especially after living in the Kappa house sophomore year! Whether it was getting ready for game days, or eating meals in the dining room, the Kappa house is filled with joy and laughter! Living in Kappa was another great decision I made through my sorority experience, and I know I’ll cherish those house memories forever!

For those entering this recruitment process, remember that this decision is for yourself, and to trust your gut. Take everyday with confidence and ease, and know that everything is going to work out! I am so excited for you all to be in Tuscaloosa, and for your recruitment week to start!!
