Best day of the week!🌈 Today’s #WHYKD is Brooke Tillery from Columbus, Georgia! 

“Coming from out of state, I was nervous about finding the right house but, most importantly, the right people. During rush, I kept an open mind, but one thing that stood out to me about KD was how down-to-earth the older girls were. I could tell that they genuinely wanted to get to know me, and there was never a time when the girls in KD were anything but themselves. After I pledged, they continued this sincere attitude and still pursued a friendship with me. Along with this friendship, I was invited to their houses and introduced to girls my age. It was an automatic comfort and belongingness that made me realize I had made the right choice. I knew that these were the type of people that I wanted to surround myself with for the next four years and who I could proudly call my best friends. This sense of authentic friendship has been nothing but true with the girls not only in the grades above me but in my own pledge class.
