“Ever since I was little, I dreamed of being in a sorority at Alabama. I remember watching recruitment videos and chapter highlights, imagining what it would be like to be part of it all one day. Never in a million years did I think I would end up being the person behind the Phi Mu account and the camera, capturing those same kinds of memories for my sisters. Getting to serve as VP of Communications and tell the story of a chapter that means so much to me is something my younger self would never believe.
One of the things I’ve loved most about this position is getting to capture the moments that make Phi Mu so special. Whether it is philanthropy events, sisterhoods, KROP, Phi Mu Birthday Week, recruitment events, or all of the other events throughout the year, I’ve had the opportunity to document so many memories that tell the story of our chapter. I love knowing that years from now, we’ll be able to look back on these photos and remember exactly what it felt like to be a Phi Mu. More than anything, I want every girl in Phi Mu to feel seen, loved, and included, and I hope that one day they can look back on these photos and smile at the memories that were made. I’ve also been lucky enough to work with incredible brands, meet amazing people, and help create opportunities that have benefited our chapter in so many ways.
But what I will cherish most are the memories and friendships l’ve had the privilege of documenting along the way.
Thank you, Phi Mu, for trusting me with your memories and for shaping me into the person I am today. Serving as your VP of Communications has been one of the greatest honors, and I will forever be grateful for every opportunity, friendship, and moment that came with it. LIOB💗!!”
