Meet Ashley and Mallie! 💙

“I met Mallie at our bid day retreat because I was lucky enough to be a VGL last fall, and we just happened to be on the same bus. I actually ended up falling right on her while getting to know the new members! Getting to know Mallie has truly been special—she and I share so many of the same interests that we clicked almost immediately. After that retreat, we hung out almost every day until she got to run to me (more like tackle) for big little. That moment was amazing, knowing that not only would she become my best friend, but also my sister. I love my Mallie!” - Ashley Diffendale, PC ’24, Massapequa, NY

“I met Ashley on the bus to the bid day retreat. I was sitting a couple rows behind her and we immediately made eye contact when she played the song Assumptions. We were the only two on the bus who knew the song. Later on the bus, she came up to my row and started asking us how we liked rush and if we were happy with SK. The bus hit a bump and she went flying and I caught her before she fell. After that we spent almost every day together hanging out. Whether we were getting food or shopping everytime we talked we found smth else we had in common. I am so lucky to not only call her my big but also my sister!
