Does John Carlson answer the Bruins needs at RD? 👀

Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic reported that John Carlson and his agent have told the Anaheim Ducks that he'll be going to free agency on July 1st. He originally stated prior to this report there were four or five teams in the East looking for Carlson to go to the UFA market. 

Carlson, 36, is coming off an eight-year, $8M AAV contract that saw his final season of that in-between the Washington Capitals (10g-36a—46pts in 55 GP) and the Anaheim Ducks (4g-10a—14pts in 16 GP).
