At first glance, it looks like someone edited out gravity. ✈️🔥

In reality, you're watching one of the most powerful machines ever built by humans do exactly what it was designed to do.

The F-22 Raptor's takeoff is so aggressive that it almost feels unnatural. The nose rises, the wheels barely leave the runway, and within seconds the aircraft seems to launch itself straight into the sky.

But there's no trick.

No movie effects.

Just physics pushed to its limits.

At the heart of the Raptor are two Pratt & Whitney F119 engines producing over 70,000 pounds of thrust. Together, they give the aircraft something extraordinary—a thrust-to-weight ratio greater than one.

In simple terms, the engines can generate more force than the aircraft weighs.
