## Caption

Sometimes life can be tumultuous, especially in times of great transformation. The old fields get burnt for the new seeds to be sown. My mother's illness, my own accident followed by my father's death after a long illness, resulted in me going into my cocoon to heal. I was shortlisted for the senior fellowship by the ministry of culture but missed the online interview due to my accident & being fully bedridden at the time. Friends thought I had vanished. But true friends also understood why. However, now it's time to emerge from the cocoon again, embrace transformation & change, to create anew. Grief is best channeled into something constructive & creative as it is also the best way to heal in body,  mind & soul. 

So now I pick up my pieces & begin anew, with a series dedicated to my late father, THE FREE SPIRIT; ROOTED IN THE EARTH, FLOWING LIKE WATER. I will plan the show once the series is done. Here's to life Dad, time to gallivant & create again with you by my side in spirit!
