Why is mentoring important? From the words of one of our mentors, Dr Jeff:

“Mentoring has allowed me to step off the mindless, meaningless, self-centered treadmill of my own life, and to get involved in the lives of pure-hearted young adults who just need that little push of encouragement or guidance to make it to the other side where a world of opportunities await...”

Together, he and his mentee Mario, who aspires to a career in sports medicine, look forward to encouraging greater physical activity through their MFC Community Service Project.
