KD really dropped 56 points in just 22 minutes, and instead of talking about one of the most ridiculous scoring performances ever, 2K decided to turn Kevin Durant into “Pevin Purant.” 😂🍬 It instantly reminded everyone of that iconic Drake purple candy commercial where he couldn’t stop saying “Pevin Purant,” and somehow years later the meme is still alive and thriving.

But jokes aside, this stat line is absolutely insane. 56 points in 22 minutes is the kind of performance that makes you wonder if the difficulty was set to rookie, the sliders were broken, or if KD simply decided to become a cheat code. The crazy part is that it actually feels believable because we’ve seen Durant take over games in ways that make even elite defenders look helpless.
