I traveled 24 hours to experience a completely different way of life — and Kyoto felt like stepping into another world. A city full of tradition, quiet beauty, and culture.

I had the chance to explore the geisha streets of Gion, visit famous shrines, walk through the Arashiyama bamboo forest, and see the iconic torii gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha ⛩️

I also experienced a traditional tea ceremony and spent time simply slowing down enough to enjoy the quiet streets, peaceful mornings, and the feeling of Japanese culture all around me.

Sometimes traveling isn’t about rushing to see everything — it’s about having the time to truly feel a place.
