From pool to wild waters.
⠀
I’m transitioning from the controlled world of the pool into oceans, springs, lagoons, and rivers. But I don’t want to just dance underwater anymore — I want my movement to carry knowledge.

Each winter, at discovercrystalriver manatees gather in the warm 72° spring waters of Crystal River, Florida to survive the cold Gulf temperatures.
⠀
Before creating anything, I studied their behavior —
how they conserve energy,
how sensitive they are to cold stress,
how easily they can be disturbed,
how gentle and curious they truly are.

Moving beside them required stillness. Respect. Awareness.
⠀
This wasn’t just content.
