The Gillie Vs Romeo Celebrity Basketball Game
Powered by elevationproject215 celebrating the 10th anniversary of giving back to the community was truly a special event this year in West Philadelphia! I spent a lot of time and filmed Brotherly Love at Overbrook High School and this is one community I will always show up for no matter what. Not only was this my first event after my spinal injury, but it was my first and only time hooping this year. This cause was bigger than a game, everybody who showed up and gave their time represented the importance of systemic change and breaking down barriers for our people. Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers, and to the people of Philly for always making me feel at home! I’ma always show up where they don’t, that’s the NOLA in me.
