Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office and Mecklenburg County Health Department, will host its first-ever Teen Summer Pool Jam on June 26, 2026 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. -- and you do NOT want to miss this, chat (it's free btw). It's giving summer vibes, friend link up, and one MASSIVE pool party. 🔥 And the best part? No parents are invited. 😎 Parents, don't worry! We will implement security checks, have staff monitoring, and take numerous precautions to ensure safety during the festivities. 🚍 Shuttles will be provided from several recreation centers in the Charlotte area. 🏊 Swimwear is required and street clothes are not permitted on the pool deck. Bus Shuttle Departure Locations & Times: - West Charlotte Recreation Center - 5:30pm - Wallace Pruitt Recreation Center - 6:00pm - Ivory Baker Recreation Center - 5:30pm - Bette Rae Recreation Center - 6:00pm - Tuckaseegee Recreation Center - 5:30pm - Arbor Glen Recreation Center - 6:00pm NOTE: Cars will not be permitted into the Ray's Splash Planet parking lot. Teens must arrive and depart Ray's Splash Planet via shuttles provided. Teens are required to return on the same shuttle they arrived in.
