The 2026 World Cup ball has a tiny computer hidden inside it.

It's called the Trionda, made by Adidas.

It tracks every kick, every touch, and every movement on the pitch — 500 times per second.

Inside one of the ball's four panels sits a sensor called an IMU. It tracks direction, speed, spin, and the exact millisecond a player's foot makes contact.

The other three panels are precision-weighted so players feel absolutely nothing different.

All that data goes live to the referee in real time.

Combined with AI and player tracking, offside calls get settled in seconds — not minutes of VAR debate.

The ball shows the truth. A human still makes the final call.

Will this make football better, or does it take something away from the game? Tell me below.

Save this — there's more World Cup tech worth knowing about.
