That's not always true.
Nevada recognizes what's called the Attractive Nuisance Doctrine, which can hold property owners responsible when dangerous man-made conditions attract children and reasonable safety measures were not taken.
Think:
🏊 Unfenced swimming pools
🤸 Trampolines
🚧 Construction holes and hazards
🔓 Unsafe areas without gates or locks
The law doesn't expect children to always recognize danger. It expects property owners to take reasonable steps to prevent foreseeable injuries.
If your child was seriously injured, even while trespassing, don't assume you have no options.
