Just one year after graduating from #RutgersNB, journalism alumnus Jonathan Vasquez is helping bring the 2026 FIFA World Cup to life as part of the New York-New Jersey World Cup 2026 Host Committee. ⚽🌎🏆

His path started right here on campus: he played club soccer, got behind the mic at Rutgers Radio WRSU-FM, wrote for The Daily Targum, and helped launch a Rutgers sports video podcast before turning his passion for sports and storytelling into a career.
