Take it up a notch this 4th of July cookout with refreshing Strawberry Basil Iced Tea from your very own garden! Save this reel and tag BurpeeGardening when you create this tasty drink for your next summer get together 🍓🌱🇺🇸

You’ll Need: 
-1 Cup of Sugar 
-8 Teabags 
-Strawberries 
-Basil 
-Measuring Cup 
-Saucepan 
-Pitcher 
-Strainer 
-Large Stirring Spoon 

Steps: 
1. Boil 4 cups of water and pour into a heat safe bowl 
2. Add in pre-washed and chopped strawberries with a few basil leaves to the water 
3. Stir in 1 cup of sugar and mix until it dissolves completely. Leave for 5 minutes. 
4. Mix in 8 tea bags and leave them to steep for another 5 minutes. 
5. Pour in 3 cups of cold water and taste! 
6. Strain the tea into a nice pitcher 
7. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and basil leaves. 
8. Most importantly, ENJOY!
